What a registered migration agent is — and is not
A registered migration agent is registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) and bound by the Code of Conduct. Registration can be checked by anyone, at any time, on the public register of migration agents using the MARN above. We are not lawyers and we do not describe ourselves as a law firm; where a matter needs legal representation we say so.
Nobody can lawfully guarantee a visa outcome. What we are accountable for is the quality and honesty of the advice, the completeness of the application, and telling you when the answer is no.
How we work
- Enquiries are free. Every engagement begins with a written fee agreement before any professional fee is payable.
- Advice before spend. Where a pathway is weak, we say so before money is committed — on charges that are frequently non-refundable.
- Online Australia-wide. Most matters run entirely by video, email and phone. Clients who prefer to meet in person are welcome at the Brisbane office.
Why the figures on this site are dated
Every visa charge, processing time, points figure and legislative reference published here is verified against a primary source — the Department of Home Affairs, the Migration Act 1958, the Migration Regulations 1994 or the relevant legislative instrument — and carries the date it was checked. Where a figure cannot be verified, we leave it out and say so rather than repeat it from another website.
This matters more than it sounds. A great deal of Australian migration content online is years out of date in ways that cost people money or appeal rights — superseded tribunal deadlines, abolished income tests, fee figures from previous years. Our editorial policy sets out how we verify and correct.
If something goes wrong
We would rather hear it from you than not. Our complaints process explains how to raise a concern with us and, if you are not satisfied, how to take it to OMARA. Government charges are set out on our fees page.
